The tasting room may be closed, thanks to the novel coronavirus, but wineries – and business in general – are doing what they can to maintain interest. One of those is PlumpJack Group‘s Odette Estate, which will conduct an online tasting this coming Friday (4/3).
This virtual wine tasting will be streamed live from Odette’s Facebook and Instagram pages. Viewers will have the chance to ask plenty of questions and get new insight on various sought-after wines.
PlumpJack online shop customers can buy special edition tasting packs including an Estate Pack, Napa Valley Pack, and Reserve Pack. Now through Friday, April 3, 10% of all sales are going directly to employees of the PlumpJack Group wineries who are temporarily unable to work in the tasting rooms due to the shelter in place ordinance. To sweeten the offer, if you purchase any of these special edition wine packs, a PlumpJack Group team member will reach out to organize a one-on-one, virtual tasting in case you can’t make Friday’s live stream.
JaM Cellars will be hosting daily virtual happy hours at 4 p.m. with Wine & Music Studio Manager, Jayme. These happy hours are open to the public via Zoom and each event will feature a new topic and special guest, including live-streamed acoustic performances from favorite JaMSession artists at home.
