LVMH (No.48), Carlsberg Group (No. 93) and Anheuser-Busch InBev (No. 99) are the only bev/al companies to rank in the top 100 of Reputation Institute’s Global RepTrak survey.
For the first time since the Great Recession, the reputation index showed a significant decline in reputation for all companies. That’s significant, because bursting of the reputation bubble makes it more difficult for global companies to win.
AB InBev saw its reputation status plunge 27 points to 99 from 72.
The analysis is based on 121 million social media conversations in publicly available digital channels.
The study looked at four key functions: citizenship, governance, products and services and innovation.
The top 10 Reputation Trak companies have a stronger reputation among Millennials and the gap vs. non-Millennials is growing, the study says. It also notes a new era of CEO activism.
