With Covid still taking its toll, and the U.S. Capitol still being off limits to most people, thanks to the Jan. 6 riot, National Beer Wholesalers Association will be hosting its 2021 Legislative Conference virtually for the first time.
The 2021 Conference marks the first time in two years that NBWA members will convene to discuss important policy topics as well as hear from political insiders and industry experts.
The General Industry Session will feature a plethora of insightful guest speakers, including Senator Joe Manchin (D-WV) and National Editor of The Cook Political Report Amy Walter.
Attendees will hear updates on the Beer Growth Initiative, an NBWA-backed program working to grow the beer category. This discussion features initiative leaders Sam Calagione, founder and president of Dogfish Head Brewery, and Mike Barnes, EVP Chief Revenue Officer of Andrews Distributing Co. Plus, NBWA Chief Economist Lester Jones will dive into distribution data and provide an outlook on the future of the industry.
