MillerCoors Fort Worth Brewery Marks 50th Year

The largest and longest operating brewery in the Fort Worth-Dallas metroplex, the brewery was built by Carling Brewing to produce Carling Black Label, an economy brand.  It sites on 155 acres, with 51 under roof.

The brewery has its place in beer history:  Miller Lite was first brewed there.  Today, 2 million barrels of Miller Lite are brewed in Fort Worth each year.  The brewery’s total production is about 7.4 million barrels a year.  It can fill 1,200 bottles and 1,700 cans each minute.  Some 550 people are employed there.
