Maison Louis Roederer, the French Champagne company, has announced that it will acquire Diamond Creek Vineyards, one of Napa Valley’s best-regarded wineries. The deal includes the 79-acre property on Diamond Mountain in Calistoga, including about 20 acres of vineyards, plus the winery and inventory. Terms were disclosed.
Adelle “Boots” Brounstein, who founded the vineyard with her husband, Al, in 1968 died last year at 92.
