Louis Glunz Beer, Inc., Chicago, will present the fourth annual BrewLights in collaboration with Lincoln Park Zoo’s Auxiliary Board.
On Dec. 7, from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m., attendees can support Chicago’s free zoo with a craft brew in hand, while more than 2.5 million lights illuminate the urban oasis. Guests are encouraged to explore the expanse of Lincoln Park Zoo, and make their way through 12 local craft, seasonal and import beers, located at eight stations throughout the zoo. All proceeds from the fourth annual event go towards the Auxiliary Board’s commitment to support Lincoln Park Zoo’s The Pride of Chicago capital campaign.
The light behind BrewLights, Glunz Director of Marketing Jennifer Faulk, holds a special place in her heart for the event, which was created out of the company’s desire to give back, “Our family has a deep connection to Chicagoland and the surrounding communities. The zoo has been so gracious in allowing us to use this platform as a way to raise money for the Auxiliary Board, and also let beer enthusiasts revel in a newfound tradition.”
BrewLights features a dozen local craft, seasonal, and international beers distributed by Louis Glunz Beer, Inc. on tap throughout the zoo. This year’s all-star lineup includes: Begyle Brewing Co., Brauerei Hirt, Breckenridge Brewery, Brouwerij Huyghe, Noon Whistle Brewing, Saugatuck Brewing Company, Stiegl Brewery, Temperance Beer Co., Unibroue, Baderbräu, Hofbräu, and new to the list, cider from Pacific Coast Cider.
