Socialbakers, an AI-driven social media marketing platform, looked at Facebook posts in both the alcohol and beer categories, to identify the most engaging posts.
Among alcohol brands, the most engaging post was from Jameson Irish Whiskey. The post featured video with American musician Anderson Paak. The Jameson post (promoted) has almost 1.3K of interactions including more than 200 shares and 158 comments.
The second most engaging Facebook post for alcohol brands was from Deep Eddy vodka featuring a funny question with a, b, c answers. This post had the highest rate of interactions per 1K fans.
The third and fourth place belongs to beer brand Coors Light. Both posts are organic and are showing their beer in typically green color. Interactions were 550 and 306 per post.
Overall, alcohol brands worked harder during the St. Patrick’s Day holiday vs. beer brands. In beer category there is in total only 10 posts with St Patrick related hashtags for St. Patrick weekend (16th and 17th March).
