GERMANY IS RUNNING OUT OF BEER BOTTLES

Blame a continuing heat wave that’s discouraged people from returning beer bottles and reclaiming a deposit.  Because bottles are ordered a year in advance, brewers can’t just get a quick shipment.  Germans don’t drink beer out of cans.  But maybe they should.
