Through the Company’s Youth Alcohol Awareness & Education Foundation, Inc.— established to fund programs that support alcohol safety and underage drinking prevention —Southern Glazer’s has brought the AlcoholEdu® for High School alcohol safety education course by EVERFI to more than 10,000 students across more than 100 high school students in Miami-Dade and Broward counties in Florida, as well as Dallas and Collin counties in Texas, since the kickoff of the program in 2017. The Company is now renewing the program in these markets for the next three years, and expanding the offering to schools in six counties in New York – Bronx, Kings, Nassau, New York, Queens, and Richmond.
