Corona Premier (Constellation Brands) announced a multi-year sponsorship of the U.S. Open beginning this June at Pebble Beach. This is part of Corona Premier’s strategy for 2019 that will place a significant focus on the golf space as the brand looks to continue the momentum it built last year – its first year in market nationwide.
Corona Premier will serve as the presenting partner of the Trophy Club, an indoor/outdoor hospitality area featuring big-screen TVs, premium food and beverage, and a large patio where fans can gather to follow the action. The Trophy Club will be located between the second and third fairways, a short walking distance from the iconic 17th and 18th holes.
The U.S. Open will be a key pillar for Corona Premier’s golf strategy in 2019, designed to enhance the onsite fan experience at Pebble Beach, including serving as a presenting partner of an indoor/outdoor hospitality area and a presence at retail locations across the country.
Outside of the U.S. Open partnership, Corona Premier’s focus in the golf space will include:
- A partnership with Travis Mathew on a co-branded merchandise line. The gear includes a t-shirt, 2 polos, 2 hats and more.
- Premier is entering its second year as a sponsor of the American Century Championship celeb golf tournament which takes place in Lake Tahoe in July. This offers Premier a platform to showcase the brand’s golf-minded and easy-going lifestyle in a more casual golf setting.
