Colorado Legislature OKs On-Premise to-Go Liquor Sales

The measure, which was sent to the governor, extends the governor’s executive order authorizing restaurant and bar takeout and delivery of alcohol beverages until July 1, 2021.  Up until now, the governor has issued — often at the last minute — one-month extensions.

The bill allows sealed containers, such as bottles and cans, or othr containers approved by the Colorado Liquor Enforcement Division.  It also requires no more than 50% of revenue come from takeout and delivery liquor, once the Covid-19 emergency is over, and the business must be licensed to sell alcohol to go.
