California vintners and others with interest in U.S. trade shouldn’t expect an end to Trump’s Trade War with China anytime soon, according to Myron Brilliant, evp-international affairs, U.S. Chamber of Commerce. His remarks came as he hosted a “fireside chat” with U.S Trade Representative Robert Lighthizer.
“We think that, of course, what you’re trying to do on China is critically important. I hope that you work with the Europeans and Japanese who share some of the concerns that you’ve outlined today. And I think it is important that the WTO continue to be an important body that the United States is thriving and leading, so I hope we’re successful in the reform agenda as well as everything else on your plate.”
