Busch Gives Fans Chance to Update Jingle

Busch Beer is giving fans the opportunity, through July 5, the opportunity to recreate their own version of the Head for the Mountains of Busch jingle. Submissions will then be hand selected by Busch and Billy Ray Cyrus to appear in a 2021 Busch commercial. The winning fan will not only hear their song in a Busch television commercial, but will receive a 1:1 recording session with Billy Ray, and will also receive a $10,000 Busch ambassador fee.

In addition to identifying the winning entry, Billy Ray will help him or her hone their skills with a 1:1 coaching lesson before recording the final version.

“Every Busch fan has undoubtedly heard ‘Head for the Mountains’ and can probably recall seeing the ad on TV back in the day,” said Daniel Blake, VP of Value Brands at Anheuser-Busch, “We wanted to give these fans the opportunity to tap into their creativity and record their own rendition, and with a legend like Billy Ray Cyrus providing inspiration and coaching the winner, we’re eager to hear an updated version almost 40 years later.”
