Buonafide Foods Intros Alcohol-Free Italian Wines

Buonafide 0.0, Totally Alcohol-Free Italian Wines, “are produced in traditional winemaking methods with the exception that the alcohol is removed through a reverse osmosis process,” says Michael Yourison, CEO, Buonafide Foods.

“The wines maintain their organoleptic healthy benefits while offering over 50% fewer calories than regular wine and significantly less sugar than competing non-alcoholic wines,” he says, adding:

“The wines are not sweet and are described by Italy’s Top Sommelier from 2016 Maurizio Dante Filippi, as fresh and clean.  Wines are exceptional as an aperitif or paired with food.

“The increasing demand for alcohol free beverages in the U.S continues to gain momentum and Buonafide 0.0 Alcohol Free Italian Wines provides those who cannot or have chosen not to consume alcohol a healthy alternative,” Yourison says.

The alcohol-free wines are produced in the Alto Adige region of the Italian Alps.

Kane’s Komment:  We’ve tested a couple of alcohol-free wines and they have been sickeningly sweet.  If Buonafide markets a “not sweet” alcohol-free wine, they may have a winner.  That’s assuming they market it really well.
