With the addition of Bud Light Orange in April, Bud Light‘s citrus portfolio is up 19% vs. last year according to internal sales-to-retailers numbers, with Bud Light Orange being the lead driver and was one of the top innovations in the U.S. market in the first half (in scandata).
In addition, Bud Light Orange is the No. 4 share gainer within the industry over the past 13 weeks behind only Ultra, Modelo Especial and Corona Premier according to IRI data. Bud Light Orange is also a top gainer in six out of A-B’s seven regions.
Bud Light Orange is a seasonal, limited-time offering and will be off shelves by Labor Day. Yes, A-B execs say it will be back next summer.
