Angela Vineyards formally launches in the market nationally, with two wines from the Willamette Valley, a Chardonnay and a Yamhill-Carlton Pinot Noir. Formerly known as Angela Estate, the revised look, feel and winemaking will take the brand in new and fresher directions. Now under the winemaking direction of Alban Debeaulieu, Angela Vineyards is owned by Beck Family Estates, which also includes sparkling wine house Graham Beck and Steenberg Vineyards, both from South Africa, as well as the forthcoming Abbott Claim, also in Oregon.
“A natural evolution of the brand started at Angela when Alban joined the winery in 2017. The re-launch is a reflection of the work he is doing in the cellar, as well as the Beck Family’s value of craft, connections and an alignment of key pillars of the Beck Family Estates, which are ‘tread lightly’ and ‘do your part”, says Kristin Marchesi, VP-Winery Operations USA, Beck Family Estates.
