Blame alcohol beverages — not young adults –for the surge of Covid-19 cases in California.
That’s the approach of the California Alcohol Policy Alliance (CAPA), which blasted Gov. Gavin Newsom’s “failure to make public health and safety essential by instead making alcohol essential in the state.”
“Alcohol consumption is increasing and ways to get alcohol are easing,” CAPA, said, adding it is “alarmed by the loosening of alcohol regulations” which it called “an immediate threat to the health and well-being of communities.”
