Joao Castro Neves, North America President and CEO of Anheuser-Busch, and Ronald den Elzen, CEO of Heineken USA, will speak during the National Beer Wholesalers Associations’s 80th Annual Convention and Trade Show.
Castro Neves will speak during the general session on Tuesday, October 10, and den Elzen will speak during the Monday, October 9, general session. The convention will take place October 8 – 11, 2017, at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, Nevada.
“Beer category health is top of mind for all segments of the beer industry. Brewers, distributors, retailers and consumers are thirsty for ways to grow volume and maintain relevance in today’s rapidly changing, competitive marketplace,” said NBWA President & CEO Craig Purser. “Both Joao and Ronald will address what opportunities they see for the industry to work together to strengthen the category for all participants.”
In addition to Castro Neves and den Elzen, NBWA’s general session will feature speakers Dana Perino, former White House press secretary, co-host of Fox News Channel’s The Five, and renowned sportscaster Brent Musburger. The convention also will include 22 education seminars taught by the industry’s leading experts and a two-day Trade Show filled with vendors featuring innovative products and services for beer distributors.
