200 Craft Brewers Collaborate with StacheStrong to Fight Cancer

Participating #BrewStacheStrong breweries will raise funds to fight brain cancer by selling through their limited-edition S.M.A.S.H. for STACHE.  This SMaSH (single malt and single hop) beer will be uniquely crafted by each participating brewery.  No two beers will be the same and styles range from IPA, lager, pilsner, saison and pale ale.

“Being in a position to not only provide hope for families and patients diagnosed with brain cancer but also serve as a catalyst for change by collaborating with hundreds of breweries to raise significant funds and awareness for brain cancer research is something I’m truly passionate about,” said Colin Gerner, President and Co-Founder of StacheStrong.

Gerner launched the StacheStrong program after his 30-year-old brother lost a 25-month battle against brain cancer.  Thus far, Gerner says, the StacheStrong program has raised $450,000 for brain cancer research, including funding and launching four separate clinical trials/research grants.
